Kennedi 10 weeks!

I can't believe that Kennedi is already ten weeks old. She is growing up so quickly and we have been doing lots of new things lately. She is really working on tummy time, trying to strengthen her neck and muscles so we can be ready to crawl when that time comes. She is doing such a good job picking her head, chest and shoulders off of the ground. We get really excited and are always telling her what a good girl she is. She likes that alot! She has also been spending more time on her gym mat batting at all the toys and kicking them. She is still just swinging her arms and legs and just accidentally hits the hanging toys but she gets excited when they make noises. There is also a little mirror on her mat and that is her favorite thing to do. Colin says that she is just like her momma. She has started to swing in her swing for longer periods of time. Sometimes she will swing for 45 minutes or so. That gives me a nice break so I can get things done around the house.
We have lots planned for the fall so we will be staying busy. We will be starting story time on Tuesdays at the library from 11:15-11:35 in September and we are really looking forward to that. We will also be going to bible study on Wednesdays from 9:15-11:00 where Kennedi will go to the nursery for the first time. We will see how that goes over.
