Christmas Time

I love Christmas time! As a family we let Kennedi pick an angel from the Angel tree this year and she chose a little girl who liked Princess things and Dora. We had a great time shopping for the little girl and Kennedi was very excited to pick everything out. Kennedi said the she is going to LOVE all of her new things.

It was a little different this year not being able to celebrate with my entire family. Both my brothers and their families stayed in Texas this Christmas. Matt and Angela will soon being moving to Midland and Chris and Jennifer are expecting a baby boy any day now. We missed them greatly and look forward to seeing everyone soon. Kennedi was asking where her cousins were because there wasn't anyone for her to play with besides Kerrington, but she does that all the time.

We did get to go down to OKC to spend time with Colin's family. We had a great time visiting, eating and opening presents. Kennedi loves playing with her cousins, Rain and Reef, and she misses them dearly. We loved getting to spend the holiday with them and got to stay at my mother in laws new beautiful home.

The girls had such a wonderful Christmas this year. Kennedi had been asking for a Furry Old Friends dog for quite some time now and she finally got it. Each time she would open a present, she would say, "I have always wanted this, I love it!" Too funny! The smile on her face told the whole story. She has had the best time playing with all her new toys and wearing all her new clothes. Thanks to everyone who made her Christmas so special. Kerrington wasn't quite as into the whole present thing as Kennedi was. She was more interested in eating her breakfast than opening presents. Kennedi ended up opening Kerrington's presents to. Kerrington has enjoyed having some of her own toys to play with, some that aren't big sisters. Kennedi has also enjoyed playing with Kerrington's new stuff.
